The Nest has delivered the new web site for Underbelly Arts & Rinse Out Inc – a young, not-for-profit arts organisation dedicated to supporting the next generation of artists in Australia.
The Underbelly Arts 2011 event brings together some of the best new works by Australia’s young creative talent, all in the surrounds of Cockatoo Island, Sydney Harbour. Under the banner “watch art unfold”, Underbelly Arts presents over 150 artists as they collaborate on innovative and experimental projects during a 10-day residency, titled The Lab. Their work culminates in the Festival itself, a one-day showing off and celebrating fruits of the artists’ hard work.
As sponsors of the Underbelly Arts, The Nest delivered the 2011 web site, in collaboration with Festival designer (and participating artist) Perran Costi. In addition, The Nest will be presenting a free social media workshop during The Lab on Saturday 9th July, aimed at artists and arts organisations. The workshpp is free – more info here.
