As part of our campaign work for The Rocks Village Bizarre, we worked with The Rocks team on their ‘Bike Shorts’ film showcase.
The Bike Shorts night saw a screening of the best short films submitted through the rocks.com web site over the campaign period in two categories – the ‘Standard’ short film (no more than 5 mins), and the ‘Micro Short’ – a 15s Instragram movie on the theme of ‘cycle’.
Finalists from both categories were screened and judged at Magnificent Revolution’s pedal-powered cinema at The Rocks Village Bizarre last week. The Standard Shorts winner won a cool $1,000 cash and a mentorship with Emmy award-winning Firelight Productions while the Micro Shorts winner pedalled away with a GoPro HD Hero 3 Digital Video Camera – Black edition.
We were thrilled with the creativity and ingenuity of the Micro Short entries – here’s the winning entry and a few of our other favourite submissions.
